Shape the Future of Neonatal Care in Sunny Southwest Arizona

Responsibilities

Pediatrix is seeking a neonatologist for our position at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, AZ - just a short drive from San Diego, CA!

This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment!

 

  • 19-bed High Level-II EQ NICU caring for infants as early as 28 weeks gestation
  • Average Daily Census: 11–13 babies
  • 24/7 in-house Neonatologist coverage
  • Attend high-risk deliveries for infants <35 weeks or as requested
  • Collaborate with an integrated group of 28 neonatologists, 42 neonatal nurse practitioners, and 2 physician assistants providing multi-level service across Arizona
  • Exposure to advanced clinical environments including ECMO, HFJV, oscillation, and clinical research

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment
