Lead Our Well-Established Pediatric Critical Care Practice in a City That Offers Something for Everyone

Responsibilities

We are seeking a BC Pediatric Intensivist to serve as Medical Director and lead our team at The Children's Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Summerlin, NV. 

  • 16-bed PICU with an average daily census of 10
  • Full pediatric subspecialty support
  • Busy sedation service
  • Pediatric floor has 29 med/surg beds and 12 dedicated heme/onc beds that are covered by our affiliated group of pediatric hospitalists
  • Dedicated pediatric ED
  • Only Pediatric Hematology/Oncology services in Southern Nevada
  • Resident teaching opportunities
  • The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility delivering high quality care while ensuring a family-centered approach

Summerlin, a suburb of Las Vegas, is a beautiful, master-planned community, offering a blend of suburban charm and urban convenience. Within 30 minutes you can be at Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston and the Valley of Fire for skiing and hiking. It's an exciting time to live here as the city, known as the entertainment capital of the World, is becoming more unified through cultural opportunities (Smith Center), and professional sports, (Las Vegas Raiders football team and the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team).  In addition, the area is a gateway to incredible outdoor activities in CA, UT and AZ.  There is a relatively low cost of living here compared to other major cities in the nation with affordable housing and no state income tax.
