Maternal-Fetal Medicine of Texas, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, is a group of maternal-fetal specialists who provide care for women with high-risk pregnancies in the Fort Worth, Tarrant County Metroplex and surrounding areas as far north as Oklahoma; west to San Angelo and Abilene and south to Waco.
Since 1995, Maternal-Fetal Medicine of Texas has provided high quality, specialized care to pregnant women by educating, counseling and managing complicated pregnancies to maximize maternal and fetal health. The care of a maternal-fetal medicine specialist can significantly contribute to the baby's health before and after birth.
This position blends clinical care, administration, and teaching. Administrative duties include serving as the placenta accreta medical director and the director for the MFM division. Teaching responsibilities includes working with the Baylor University Medical Center OB/GYN residents. Clinicalal practice is a combination of clinic and hospital responsibilities, with dedicated admin time.
