Neonatologist - Community Level III NICU - South Florida

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neonatologist to join our collaborative team at HCA Florida Northwest Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing Level III NICU in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Staffing Model: 4 Neonatologists, 1.6 NNPs
  • Schedule: 4-week rotation designed with the flexibility to meet the team's needs
    • Week 1: Mon–Fri 9-hour days + Sun 24-hour shift
    • Week 2: Off
    • Week 3: Tue & Thu 15-hour nights
    • Week 4: Mon, Wed & Sat 15-hour nights
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Attend high-risk deliveries
    • Care for Level II/III NICU patients
    • Collaborate with NNPs providing 8-hour daytime coverage
