Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity for a neonatologist at St. Joseph Medical Center, a busy high acuity Level-III NICU in the downtown medical center area of Houston! 

 

  • 3400 plus annual deliveries
  • OB residency program with OB residents, OB anesthesia and faculty attendings in-house 24/7
  • 3 neonatologists sharing 24-hour shifts with out of house night coverage, response time 30 minutes or less
  • 24/7 NNP in-house coverage; neonatologists called in on an as needed basis at night.
  • Pediatric hospitalists see normal newborns 
  • Pediatric surgery consultation available and access to a broad range of sub-specialty support
