Pediatric Hospitalist

Outstanding Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Southern California

We are seeking a 5th BC/BE Pediatrician to join our hospitalist program at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA.

• 18-bed combined pediatric floor and direct observation unit 
• Average daily census is 5 - 7
• Full pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery
• Full-time position is 7.5  24-hour in-house shifts per month
• Participation in CQI program
• Teaching opportunity with Family Medicine Residents
• Access to academic grand rounds
• Ideal candidate will hold an active California license and must have current or recent hospital in-patient experience

Pasadena, most famous for hosting the annual New Year's Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl, is in Los Angeles County at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and has an average daily temperature of 76 degrees.  The area has a broad economic base, well-respected cultural and educational institutions, great shopping and a splash of Hollywood-adjacent glamour.  Boasting 500 restaurants within its city limits, there is no shortage of dining options.  The area attracts people from all over the region. 

BC/BE Pediatrician -  must have current or recent hospital in-patient experience.

• Base compensation is $180,000 - $225,000.
