Newborn Nursery Opportunity - PNPs and NNPs considered! 

 

 

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a pediatric nurse practitioner or neonatal nurse practitioner to work with our practice in Fort Worth! Our team includes in-house neonatologists and affiliated professionals, such as neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs, and pediatric surgeons. Together, we provide comprehensive newborn services. Join a team with a superb culture focused on mutual respect and providing the best care for our babies.

 

Details: 

  • Provide 8-10 hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, no call requirements
  • Responsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with families
  • Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk situations
  • Opportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiatives 
  • Flexible work schedule; work 13-16 days per month with some weekends 
  • Unable to consider FNPs for this position

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
