About the Area
West Tennessee has many thriving, livable cities with loads of activities and affordable living. Most know that Memphis is famous for its blues music on Beale Street, Graceland, and the shores of the Mississippi. But many are not aware that this part of Tennessee is also renowned for its stellar weather (with more sunny days each year than Miami), great dining, art galleries, and an electric nightlife.
The city and its suburbs are home to numerous parks and walkways, including one of the largest urban parks in the country, as well as both major and minor sports teams like the NBA’s Grizzlies. The 9 area universities, including University of Memphis and Rhodes College, offer exceptional educational opportunities as well as sporting and entertainment options for the community.
