Pediatric Hospitalist Program in West Tennessee

Competitive Salary + $25K Sign-On Bonus!

Responsibilities

 

Join our team of dedicated Pediatric Hospitalists in caring for medically complex pediatric patients and well-born babies as part of a strong Pediatrics team.

 

  • Based in West Tennessee
  • 300 pediatric admissions a year, with 3-4 ADC
  • 18-22 new born patients per day
  • In-house daily coverage, rotating night on call
  • Subspecialists include Peds Intensivist, Neurology, Cardiology, GI, Ortho, ENT, Pulminology and peds surgery.

 

About the Area

 

West Tennessee has many thriving, livable cities with loads of activities and affordable living.  Memphis and its surrounding communities have a significantly lower cost of living compared to the rest of the region, with affordable housing and good schools.  The region is home to many corporate headquarters, such as Fed Ex, Autozone and International Paper Co , and has a newly renovated international airport.

Most know that Memphis is famous for its blues music on Beale Street, Graceland, and the shores of the Mississippi.  But many are not aware that this part of Tennessee is also renowned for its stellar weather (with more sunny days each year than Miami), great dining, art galleries, and an electric nightlife.

The city and its suburbs are home to numerous parks and walkways, including one of the largest urban parks in the country, as well as both major and minor sports teams like the NBA’s Grizzlies.  The 9 area universities, including University of Memphis and Rhodes College, offer exceptional educational opportunities as well as sporting and entertainment options for the community.

Qualifications

Board Certified Pediatrics

Board Certified Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred, but not required.
