Overview

 

Pediatrix Cardiology of Houston, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in imaging to join our expanding five physician practice in metropolitan Houston, Texas

Responsibilities

We are a large, experienced, and well-established team of five pediatric cardiologists with multiple clinics located throughout the Houston metropolitan region.

 

· Majority of practice is outpatient cardiology offering comprehensive pediatric heart care for patients with a broad range of clinical indications

· Expanding Fetal Heart Program working closely with OB/Gyn and MFMs to provide comprehensive fetal cardiac care including care coordination with Perinatal Navigation Program at hospital with over 11,000 deliveries per year

· Growing inpatient cardiology service providing consultation services and echocardiogram reading for 146 bed Level IV NICU with an average daily census of over 100 patients and 14 bed PICU providing and remote reading of echocardiograms for affiliated hospital NICUs and nurseries on a regular call schedule

· Candidates should be comfortable with all aspects of outpatient pediatric cardiology, including general, pediatric and fetal echocardiograms

· Practice works closely with two large congenital heart surgical centers in the area

Qualifications

· Ideally seeking candidate with advanced image training and interest in inpatient cardiology coverage.

· BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
