MEDNAX is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU
  • Our average daily census of 50 and a new state-of-the art unit 
  • Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
  • There are approximately 7,000 deliveries per year and the hospital provides strong pediatric subspecialty support
  • Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide 
  • 8 hour shifts; 24 hour shifts are possible

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
  • TN license required
  • Local candidates preferred
