Neonatologist

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a per diem Board Certified neonatologist to join our team of 5 neonatologists at Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA, supporting a strong philosophy of family-centered care

• 16-bed Level 3 NICU with an ADC of 10
• 24-hour inhouse coverage (9am-9am) and 14 hour night shifts (7pm-9am) available
• Staff includes a pediatric hospitalist and NNP with sub-specialty support available including maternal-fetal medicine
• 35-bed newborn nursery with an ADC of 15-20
• Services include conventional and high-frequency ventilation and iNO with surgical cases transferred to local children’s hospital
• Transfer infants under 1000g
• Strong focus on quality and safety initiatives

• VA license required 
• Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
