Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a neonatologist to join its practice at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. The hospital’s NICU offers:

• Level III NICU with 10 beds, the largest on the Treasure Coast
• Coverage also includes the 10 bed Level II NICU
• Over 1300 deliveries annually with an average daily census of 14
• 24 hour neonatal nurse practitioner in-house coverage
• Renovation and expansion completed in 2023
• Newly expanded space includes 10 spacious suites and two isolation rooms
• State of the art equipment
• Centrally located nurse and physician workspaces
• In-unit overnight neonatologist sleep suite
• Various ventilation methods, including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA, SIMV, CPAP and HFNC; as well as iNO
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner PICC team
• On-site pediatric subspecialty support includes surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthamology, otolaryngology, craniofacial/plastic surgery and anesthesia.  Full complement of telehealth subspecialty support is also available.
• 24 hour neonatal transport system with a neonatal nurse and respiratory therapist, and NNP attendance as needed
