MFM Opportunity with a 4-day work week and Home Call in the Emerald City!

 

Responsibilities

Join a dynamic team at Maternal Fetal Medicine of Puget Sound, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, in Seattle, Washington.

 

  • Full Spectrum Practice:
    • Diverse caseload at Swedish Medical Center-First Hill.
      • State-of-the-art facility with 7,500 annual deliveries, a PICU, and a 70+ bed NICU.
      • Full delivery and MFM procedures.
      • Reproductive health options.
    • Consultative services in Everett and Issaquah.
    • Care for patients from the Pacific Northwest and southern AK.
  • Schedule:
    • 4-day work week, 18-19 work days per month, including call.
    • Home Call at Swedish First Hill with laborist and nocturnist support.
    • 3-4 calls per month, 10 weekend calls per year.
  • Comprehensive Support:
    • MFM ARNP postpartum rounding, 24-hour OB hospitalist assistance, and OB-nocturnist coverage.
  • Educational Opportunities:
    • Teaching activities with OB/GYN residents.
  • Clinical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient settings, including deliveries, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and genetics.
    • Experience in fetal echo and/or CVS is valued but not mandatory.
  • Research Emphasis:
    • Support from Pediatrix sponsored trials and local organizations.

Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range (Base Pay): $450,000 to $600,000 based on years of experience.

Other Types of Pay: Non-guaranteed bonus pool participation

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis.  Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire.  Team members who meet the plan’s minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible. 

Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year. 

Paid Holidays: The Company observes the following Holidays: New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; Juneteenth; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Friday after Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; and 1 Floating Holiday.

NOTE: The paid holidays above are offered to regular full-time team members upon employment.  Full-time team members who work fewer than 40 hours per week will receive holiday pay on a pro-rated basis.

Paid Sick Leave

Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.   

NOTE:  The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
